Cookies Cannabis Brands Dispensaries are coming to Florida

The game is about to change for the Florida Medical Marijuana scene.

The most infamous brand in Marijuana, Cookies, is coming to Florida. Known as the best brand of dispensaries, Cookies Florida now has a website and posted on their Instagram and the upcoming invasion of Florida.

The Miami Herald had this to say...

A California-based cannabis company known for its celebrity partnerships, colorful marketing and crowd-drawing interiors is headed to Florida.

COOKIES, headed up by Bay-area rapper Gilbert Anthony Milan Jr., or “Berner,” has acquired one of Florida’s 22 coveted medical marijuana treatment center licenses and plans to begin business in 2021. The license was purchased from Port Richey license holder Tree King-Tree Farm Inc., which has not dispensed any medical marijuana since it acquired its license in May 2019.

Here's some background on Cookies, also known as having the best dispensaries in California, Colorado, Arizona and more. Found from Cannabis Now

No other strain in modern cannabis history has caused as much controversy and hype as the Cookies. The commonly believed story is that it’s a cross of several strains, probably including the genetics of OG Kush, Durban Poison and Grand Daddy Purple. Another commonly held belief is that it’s a cross of Cherry Pie Kush, which contains GDP, OG and Durban Poison.

What is for sure is that Girl Scout Cookies (rapidly shortened to just Cookies due to obvious copyright issues with the Girl Scouts of America) took the cannabis world by storm. In 2012, Cookie clones were selling for as much as $1,000 a stem.

The rapper Berner was the main driving force behind this phenomenon. He started name checking the Cookies in his music and then rapidly expanded its marketing reach by creating an entire line of branded clothing, hats and ashtrays. Pretty much anything one could imagine was branded and sold. There is now even a Cookies clothing store in San Francisco and young fans nationwide – many of whom might never have even smoked the Cookies – rep their brand.

Here are the Instagram posts from Cookies teasing us that they are coming to Florida.

Here is another Instagram post showing that Cookies is now legal and licensed in the state of Florida. My guess is that Cookies Florida is following the vertical integration laws for Florida dispensaries.

Let's see what the future holds.

From Wikipedia...

Berner, is an American rapper and entrepreneur signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment. As of 2019, Berner has released 16 albums, several of which have charted on Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums" chart. As an entrepreneur, he's credited with the creation of multiple companies including Cookies, and is heavily active in California-based cannabis trade market.

Berner ran a cannabis club from age 18 to 25; after meeting Wiz Khalifa, the latter heard Berner's release with Equipto, and signed him under the Taylor Gang.

Berner opened a clothing and lifestyle store in San Francisco called "Cookies", selling items such as lunch bags, duffle bags and "smell proof" backpacks. He is associated with the "Cookie Family" of marijuana geneticists, who produce strains common in California, such as "Girl Scout Cookies" and "Sunset Sherbet".

Here's a video of Berner Turned Down $800 Million For His Cookies Empire...

Building his marijuana brand “Cookies” from a $12k investment to generating more than $12 million in profit last year and so much more. Pete & Berner get into how shady the weed business is, creating different strands, and even a $800 million dollar buyout offer that he refused for “Cookies”.
